A collection of media, services and solutions to help you on your
writing/editing/publishing journey.

There are some amazing editors out there (who aren't me)!  If my style or focus doesn't fit you or your project, I strongly suggest you check out Free Expressions Seminars and Literary Services.  Editor/Instructor/Writer Lorin Oberweger and her team support both new and experienced writers with editing, story development, ghost writing, and select book packaging projects with award-winning designers and illustrators.  Lorin, Brenda, and Rob are the real deal, and I love their work to the moon and back.  Even if you're not in the market for another editor, you owe it to yourself to dig into their seminars.  They are the best in the biz!

There are hundreds of excellent books on craft.  One of my favorites is The Emotional Craft of Fiction, by Donald Maass.  It is a fantastic primer on getting emotion on the page without resorting to purple prose.  One of my must-reads if you're serious about taking your writing to the stratosphere.

A terrific outline to help you start on your synopsis, courtesy of sci-fi author Curtis C. Chen.  Check out his website for terrific stories and stellar writing tips!

If you are an indie published author or are heading in that direction, and are interested in formatting your own books, I recommend Vellum.  It creates gorgeous eBook and Print-on-Demand books.  Sadly, it is only for Mac right now, and it's on the pricey side.  But, that said, it's a tool you'll use over and over again.  Well worth the investment.
